$20.00Enjoy a fun and scenic trip to the beautiful Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. All art mediums and eras are displayed from Art Nouveau, Art Deco pieces, Modern and Contemporary American art to Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings. A special interactive Egyptian Exhibit will be featured, at no cost to the public.
A featured exhibition is Man Ray: The Paris Years which focuses on the innovative portrait photographs that the American artist Man Ray made in the French capital between 1921 and 1940. The exhibit is timed to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Man Rays arrival in the French capital. The exhibition includes more than 100 portraits of such cultural luminaries as Kay Boyle, Ernest Hemingway, Aldous Huxley, James Joyce, Pablo Picasso, and many more. The Man Ray: The Paris Years exhibit does charge a fee that can be purchased in advance online or onsite at the museum. Enjoy lunch on your own at the Best Cafe inside of the museum or pack a light lunch. Join us Friday, January 28th from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Register by 1/25.
