Blackwater Creek watershed encompasses a major tributary to the James. Come out and help improve the esthetics of Lynchburg’s blueway trail system and parks the Blackwater Creek weaves through. Wear sturdy closed-toe shoes or boots that won’t get sucked off in the mud (no sandals or slip-ons), work clothes, a hat, work gloves, and sunscreen is recommended. Join us Saturday, September 18th from 9:00 am-12:00 pm. Register in advance at your preferred location to help us prepare.
