The City of Lynchburg Department of Parks and Recreation offers a variety of public programs for ages preschool through seniors in a variety of areas, including athletics, visual and performing arts, personal enrichment, nature education, outdoor recreation, health, and fitness.
We maintain 17 parks and over 40 miles of trails where you can find organized and open recreation, picnic areas, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, children’s play areas, walking, mountain biking, hiking and running. Apply now to begin sharing your passion with our community.
