Want to save water, reduce stormwater runoff, and help our watersheds? Collecting rainwater from your roof for your garden or lawn is good for the environment and can lower your water bill! In this workshop, you’ll get hands-on experience building a rain barrel and learn how to set it up and take care of it. You can buy a rain barrel at the workshop for $50.00, which you can pay with cash or check on the day of the class.

Register by two days before the program. If you want to buy a rain barrel, contact us at natureoutdoors@lynchburgva.gov or 434-455-5828 at least two days ahead. The workshop is presented by Lynchburg Water Resources.
